๐Ÿ†“Free Entitlement

Universal Free Entitlement

Qualifying two year olds and EVERY child from the term after their third birthday are entitled to up to 570 hours free nursery provision a year until the term before they start school, as we are a Term Time only nursery, this equates to 15 hours per week for 38 weeks.

You apply for the Free Entitlement hour by filling out a โ€œParent Declaration Formโ€ (which we will send to you when itโ€™s time or you can find it below). Once filled in please return it to us by scanning/photographing and then emailing the form to info@naturalnurture.org. We will then submit the application and claim the funding on your behalf.

Extended Free Entitlement

In addition, working parents / carers of 3 and 4 year olds who meet the qualifying criteria are eligible for an additional 570 hours (1,140 in total) free nursery provision a year until they start school. Again, as we are a term time only nursery, this equates to 30 hours a week for 38 weeks. Application for the Extended Entitlement requires a 30 hours eligibility code, which parents / carers must first apply for on-line via the Government website here.

Once you have received the eligibility code then you will also need to fill out a Parent Declaration form and return it to us so we can claim the funding on your behalf.

Free entitlement sessions

We offer Free entitlement in two sessions: 9am-3pm (1 x 6hr session) or 9am - 12pm (1 x 3hr session)

Please note:

  1. If you are using FE hours and you would like your child to stay until 1pm, this is NOT included with the Free entitlement, which means you will need to pay for the lunch (12pm- 1pm) session.

  2. You can change the number of hours claimed at the beginning of each term. Any changes made after headcount day (which is usually the second Thursday of each new term) will need to be invoiced as weโ€™re unable to claim the funding after this point.
